Common questions

The practical details, made clear.

What happens on service day, where the waste goes, and what you need to know before we arrive.

Do I need to be home?

Usually not. Safe, reliable access to the yard is generally all that is needed.

What happens to the waste?

Waste is securely bagged and placed in your own outdoor trash bin. Poovera does not haul waste away.

Can my dog stay outside?

Large dogs and any dog with aggressive tendencies should be inside during the visit. Friendly dogs are usually fine once we’ve met — be there for the first visit or two so your dog gets used to us. If we arrive to a dog we haven’t met and nobody’s home, we won’t enter until it’s put away.

What if my gate is locked?

We come back and try again — things happen. If we still can’t get in on that second attempt, the visit counts as completed and the extra is cleared on your next one. Know about a blocker ahead of time? Tell us and we’ll work around it.

What happens when it rains?

We work through light rain and cold. When it’s genuinely unsafe — lightning, high wind, flooding — we adjust the route and come back for missed visits as soon as it’s safe. The visit isn’t lost, it moves.

Are tools cleaned between properties?

Yes. Tools and footwear receive a plant- and pet-safe enzyme treatment between properties.

Do you offer one-time cleanups?

Yes. One-time and initial accumulated-waste cleanups are available.

How does billing work?

Card on file, charged before the work rather than after it. Weekly, twice weekly and three times weekly plans are billed once a week for that week’s visits; every other week and monthly are billed before each visit. Your first week is charged when you book. No contract, no minimum term, no cancellation fee, and no late fees — payment comes first, so there’s no balance to fall behind on.

What if there is a lot of built-up waste?

That’s what the first cleanup is for, and it’s free with any recurring plan when you pay for your first period. The quote prices it from what you tell us; we check the yard before we start and adjust either way if it’s different.
